Advanced Chiropractic To Sponsor Food Drive To Benefit The Community

November 1st through November 21st Advanced Chiropractic will be sponsoring a food drive to benefit Bridging The Gap of Newnan.  Bridging The Gap is a community outreach non-profit organization that distributes food to those in need. They began their program in September, 2009 and currently feed up to 1000 people a week.  “My plans are to continue working to inspire a healthier community”, states Dr. Jason Bailey - the new  proprietor of ADVANCED CHIROPRACTIC and MASSAGE WORKS practice that is located in historic downtown Newnan at 35 Jackson Street.   Although not new to the patients and staff, Dr. Jason has worked in the practice for the past five years. After graduating from Life University in December 2003, Dr.  Jason has dedicated his career to studying and understanding what it takes to be healthy.  He travels thousands of miles each year to learn the latest in health and wellness from the top researchers around the world.  His primary approach in practice is to look to the structural imbalances associated with posture that interfere with the body’s normal function that lead a person to a breakdown in their health.  Dr. Jason is proficient in Chiropractic Bio-Physics (CBP) a technique that is not only the most scientific and reliable technique in chiropractic today but is also the most widely  researched technique in the profession today.   To share his knowledge of health and wellness, Dr. Jason has lectured to thousands of different people in his career, from high school to college students and from churches and ministries to corporations around the Atlanta area. The underlying message of each lecture he delivers is that everybody was born to be healthy and with Chiropractic and healthy living  everybody can reach their God given potential.  With this message - it makes it a perfect match to sponsor a food drive for Bridging The Gap and support such a needed effort in our community.  Dr. Jason also is a sponsor of Powers’ Crossroads Festival which also gives back to the community through five non-profit organizations.

Stop by the office and meet Dr. Jason and welcome him to Newnan!  And as you make plans to stop by the office, please bring your canned items and help “Bridge The Gap”.  Suggested items include:  canned good items such as fruits, vegetables and meats; boxed food items such as macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes; non-perishable items such as cleaning products;  and toiletries such as soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes.  The items will be taken to Bridging The Gap on November 22nd.

  1. So, what about Dr. Josh Shields? Does he no longer work at Advanced?

  2. Yes, Anonymous. Dr. Josh and his family moved to Detroit Michigan and he is no longer in the practice. Dr. Jason Bailey is now the owner and you may remember him, he has filled in for Dr. Josh over the last 5 years. We look forward to continuing to take great care of you and your family.
